Mei tais are fabric baby carriers, a traditional design from Asia, pronounced *May-Tie*. Made with four straps and a rectangular body, designed to distribute weight evenly on the back and shoulders. It's highly adjustable since it uses straps to attach to the wearer's body. Mom and Dad can use the same carrier. Can be worn on front, back and hip with babies from 3month up to 35 lb The front carry is best for smaller babies and infants, the hip and back carry is appropriate for older babies or toddlers. MTs keep babies closer, snugglier.
Soft Structured Carriers use shorter straps with buckles to attach. While they are more convenient and quicker to put on, they give less room for adjustment. Shoulder and waist strap length should be customized if the wearer is not average sized.
Half buckle carriers offer the best of both worlds. A quick adjusting structured supportive waist and a tie shoulder that's one size fits all.
Delux Mei Tai
The Delux style body has seat darts giving extra room in the seat area. The Delux generally has a shaped adjustbale hood, but it can be made with the flat hood also.
The body and hood is the same style and size on the Mei Tai and SSC.

Regular Mei Tai
The Regular style body is contoured and has a flat hood. Better for smaller babies as it keeps them closer to the wearer's body.

Wrap Conversion
Wrap conversions (to the left) can have either body and hood style and. It has a unique shoulder strap. Padded on the shoulder and it fans out to an about 10-12" wrap strap.

Solarveil panel carriers (to the right) have a rectangular body with a solarveil panel in the middle. Comes in MT and SSC version with the hood style of your choice.
